I guess this just cinches it. They are lame.
I am not saying they are wrong for wanting money for their work, Hell, I own just about everything they ever put out on disc. But to jump in with this lawsuit, before they even know if it is hurting sales is just so so lame. To me it just shows where they are oriented.
All this MP3 talk is exactly the same thing they said about video... "We'll be ruined!", well studios and theaters are taking in more than ever.
Even if they succeed with this lawsuit, it won't go away and they can't make it. It will just go underground where it will be impossible to profit from it and it will be even harder to tell the impact it will have on their business.
It's here to stay, like it or not.
