Devils Rejects
I hated the first movie. The whole Dr. Death(whatever his name was), I thought that was retarded and totally out of nowhere.
So I was really suprised what a giant leap forward this movie was. I thought it was a great movie on a technical level, and almost great in other areas.
The thing I didn't care for is the end. It was a great scene, but I think it would have been better if they were just tortured to death. It seemed way too good for them. Like a hero's death which to me, doesn't seem fitting.
It's odd when you watch the commentary. Rob seems to think the audience is on the Rejects side. When they are being tortured he says something to the effect of "We find ourselves on the wrong side of the law" and that the audience cheers when the sheriff is killed everytime.
When I saw it, just the opposite. Everyone seemed pretty pleased that they were being tortured, myself included. They booed when he was killed.
The other thing that irked me was Tiny. When they said "Where's tiny", you knew right then he would show up in the last five minutes.
